Heart of the lesson:
Although we are forewarned , some life events are beyond the realm of our imaginations. How do we respond at these times? Even though the disciples were confounded when they entered the empty tomb , they experienced  a new birth into a living hope through the Resurrection.

Sunday, April 9, 2017 - John 19 31-37
The Jews wanted to ensure that the three men on the cross were dead so they went to break their legs, they broke those of the two thieves but when they went to Jesus He was already dead so they pierces His sides. The word of God tells us that none of His bones would be broken.Jesus brought peace and healing to mankind.

Monday, April 10, 2017 - 1John 5:6-12
One of the symbols of faith in Christ is baptism. Jesus also was baptized and coming out of the water the Spirit descend on Him and God acknowledged Him as His Son in whom He is well pleased. The water, the blood and the Spirit agree that we can have eternal life in Jesus Christ.

Tuesday, April 11, 2017 - Psalm 34:15-20
People who are brokenhearted and cry out to Jesus, He saves them. The path Jesus took to the cross confirms that He hears the cries of those who love Him. God is preparing a home for those who love Him , and those will live with Him in heaven.

Wednesday, April 12, 2017 - John 19: 23-25
The people who crucified Jesus mocked Him, they spat on Him and cast lots for His clothes. With all of that Jesus loved them. His death was also to save them from their sins. Remembering what Jesus went through as we also face criticism let us follow Jesus' example to love them.

Thursday, April 13, 2017 - John 19:26-27
Jesus' thought and love were focused on those around Him. The man on the cross who asked Him to remember him and His mother. He asked His disciple to take care of His mother.

Friday, April 14, 2017 - Luke 24: 1-12
Many times we do not trust the Lord for comfort and strength even though He promised He will always be there for us. We need to learn to put our trust in Him

Sabbath, April 15, 2017 - John 20:1-10, 1Peter 1:3-5,8-9
He is risen! Jesus' resurrection means that Jesus won a decisive victory over sin and death. All the trials that we face will be taken away as we prepare to enter the home that God is preparing for us.

In our human condition , we search for that which enables us to love and be loved by others. Where do we find the authentic  source of this love? The writer of the gospel said that God is the source of an all-encompassing love God and one another.

It takes effort to keep our lives in order. These verses remind us that being holy requires action we separate ourselves unto God and fix our hope completely on His grace.

God's word is clear about the nature of Jesus Christ and how we are to live as believers. Protect yourself from false teachings, or disobedience to God;s laws. 

Thursday, March 16, 2017 - Ephesians 2:11-21
When we accept Christ , we become His bride. His family is now our family. The covenants God made with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are now shared with us as members of the family. Let us continue to pray for His family even as we pray for our own.

Friday, March 17, 2017 - 1John 4:16-19
Jesus said we should abide in His love, Fear and insecurity  often prevent us from giving and receiving love in an attempt to protect against  the possibility of being hurt. God's perfect love is the only thing that can cast out fear of loving others.

Sabbath, March 18, 2017 - John 15:1-17
Jesus commanded us to abide in Him, abide in His words and in His love. To abide is to live continually in His love, in Him and in His words. The fruit that remains comes from abiding in Christ.

Monday, March 6, 2017 - 1 John 14:18-24
We should all seek to honor our parents.Jesus honors His Father and it cost us to honor God in obedience. We should live in the Spirit of truth and in constant fellowship through His Son Jesus Christ.

Tuesday, March 7, 2017  - I John 3:18-24
Just as a parent loves her child and teaches her/him to to obey, so God our Heavenly Father teaches us and expects us to obey His truth. This is an active demonstration of love,

Wednesday, March 8, 2017  - IJohn 4:1-6
john instructed his readers to 'test the spirits' to ensure they believe in the right things. The Spirit of truth confesses that Jesus is God , who came and died for our sins. He rose from the grave, is ascended to His Father and is seated on the right hand of God.

Thursday, March 9, 2017  - 1John 4:20-5:5
When the love of Jesus flows into our hearts , it must flow out to others and result in obedience to God. When we hate, it pollutes love, and hoarding it causes us to die. Let us pass on God's love to those around us.

Friday, March 10, 2017 - Psalm 46:1-10
We should seek to shower the love of God on His people through His Son Jesus Christ. Let us prepare our offerings of praise and thanksgiving to the God of ALL love.

Sabbath, March 11, 2017 - 1John 4;7-19
Without love, we are dead. Pure love flows from the Father above. through His Son Jesus Christ and unto us by His Spirit. Let God's love flow over you every day . Let His love cast out the fear in your heart. Let His love refresh you in these days ahead.
